The Bright Side, Channel 7 News

Recently the Booker of the Middle Eastern Dancing group organised a great publicity event for Sydney u3a Endeavour (Southern) Region with Channel 7 News.

The station has a small segment after the evening news called "The Bright Side" which publicises something positive each night.

The reporter and a cameraman came to the class to interview the group with the class performing in their fabulous bright outfits. Even the reporter put on a sparkling, tinkling dance belt and a shimmied. It was a terrific PR opportunity for Sydney u3a.

Sydney u3a Course Book, Semester 2

The Sydney u3a Course Book for the next semester is currently being compiled. It is exciting to see a number of new courses that will be on offer in the Endeavour (Southern) Region.

Do you like trivia and podcasts, are you interested in books, what about singing or maybe even improving your computer skills? If so, make sure you keep an eye out for what is on offer next semester.
